We are proud to present our exciting initiative, the “Youth, Racism and Diversity Project”, which will take place in February 2024, coinciding with Black History Month. This event will take place in the welcoming grounds of the Center des Arts et des Cultures de Dieppe, a place symbolizing cultural richness and diversity. This ambitious project is designed to fight anti-black racism, a crucial issue in our current society. Our goal is to raise awareness among young people, particularly those from immigrant backgrounds, about Canadian culture. At the same time, we want to encourage young Canadians to broaden their horizons by discovering world cultures. To realize this vision, we are planning a series of engaging cultural activities. These activities will include workshops, lectures, artistic performances, and exhibitions. Each of these initiatives aims to create constructive dialogue and celebrate the diversity that enriches our community. Our “Youth, Racism and Diversity” project is not just an event; it is a movement toward a deeper understanding and appreciation of our differences. It is an invitation to come together, to learn, and to grow together. We invite you to join this journey of discovery and celebration. More information on programming and registration will be available soon. Stay tuned so you don’t miss anything from this unmissable event which promises to be both educational and inspiring. Together, let’s take a step closer to a world where diversity is not only recognized but celebrated.
